About the Author
James De Young is professor of New Testament Language and Literature at Western Seminary, Portland, OR, where he has taught for thirty-four years, seeking to extend Christian values to the community of Portland. He has served as chairman of the Hermeneutics section within the Evangelical Theological Society and he's published several books.

An enlightened, unbiased discussion of The Shack!

In my opinion, James De Young does an excellent job of addressing all the ideas and statements (half-truths and outright lies) that Paul Young presents as truth in The Shack that are in direct conflict with the Word of God, the Bible. James De Young also gives credit to Paul Young when he gets God's teachings correct.
